What am I passionate about? 

I am incredibly passionate about working in and experiencing the event world. From working at festivals and the opera to going to festivals and exciting events, I love seeing what goes on behind the scenes and appreciating the hard work others have put in. 

Over my university experience I have worked in events during the summers. This started in the summer after my first year when I worked for the companies Hap Group and Gorilla, through these companies I had the opportunity to work at places such as Kite Festival, Cornbury Festival and Henley Regatta. These experiences taught my invaluable lessons and really pushed me out of my comfort zone and overall brought my out of my shell. I learnt how to deal with conflict in regards to customers (especially intoxicated ones), keep a strong work ethic through long hours, but most of all I learnt that whilst the work is long, it is also incredibly rewarding and such a fun and eye opening experience. 

After my summer of working in festivals I chose to work somewhere a little closer to home after my second year of university. I began working at Garsington Opera in June of 2023 and spent the summer selling programmes and being a behind the scenes runner helping cook for the cast and crew as well as hosting VIP parties and other responsibilities. I adore working at the opera, it is such a wonderful community offering me the chance to engage with interesting and creative people as well as nurturing my organisational skills.
